 The Town of Halton Hills came one step closer to finalizing its 2018 budget on last Wednesday night, approving a proposed 2.4 per cent increase on next years tax levy and $9.7 million in new capital projects.Town staff met its capped limit of a 3.9 per cent increase on the levy set by council in August. The regional portion of the levy will increase by two per cent, while the school board contribution will remain as is.
