 Brampton businesses arent allowed to question customers claiming exemptions under the citys new mandatory mask bylaw, says the city   acting solicitor.Wearing masks in enclosed public spaces in Brampton became mandatory on July 10 and individuals and businesses not adhering to the new rules are subject to steep fines.Individuals and businesses not adhering to these bylaws may be fined a minimum of $500 and a maximum of up to $100,000 for each offence,  said Mayor Patrick Brown during a news conference on July 8.  So, there are serious fines.
