Hurricane Ian is expected to come ashore this week on the Gulf Coast of Florida as an intense hurricane.AAA noted that the hurricane could have a small impact on gas prices in t stanley flasche he coming days. Generally reducing supply causes prices to increase.  Northeastern Ohio has been rattled by close to a dozen earthquakes since last spring. It s not an area that is known for them. Now, CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller reports that an expert on quakes says he believes they may have been man-made.John Armbruster is a seismologist at Columbia University. Before March, there had never been a recorded earthquake in Youngstown, Ohio. Since then, there s been 11.Residents call the new phenomenon  an experience. The new earthquakes caused Ohio state officials to ask Armbruster to investigate.         These earthquakes were sitting there waiting to happen. We have triggered these earthquakes,  Armbuster said.Armbruster believes the trigger was a Youngstown well that disposes of contaminated water trucked in from elsewhere in Pennsylvania and beyond. The water is a byproduct of oil and natural gas extraction, called  fracking.   The disposal well pumps thous stanley cups ands of gallons of the waste into rock a mile stanley website  or more below. Armbruster says the fluid may have made its way into an earthquake fault line.    Pumping the fluid into the fault encourages the fault to slip,  Armbruster said.            Armbruster added that seismic readings allowed him to pinpoint the epicenter of a quake near the Youngstown well. It was about a kilometer from the bottom of the disposal well,  Armbruster said.Drilling companie stanley puodelis s and some scientists are skeptical. 177 similar wells in Ohio have operated without incident, and the technique has been used since the 193 Zemz A New Super-Thin Coating Could Cool Buildings Without AC
How often do you find yourself interested in playing table tennis only to discover that small plastic ball either miss stanley cup ing, crushed, or too sticky from a round of Beer Pong to bounce  The Sharper Image has the solution in the form of this $60 Virtual Pong game that projects a ball of light on the walls and ceiling, saving you from having to spend countless pennies replacing that white plastic IRL one.     The game plays out very similar to actual table tennis, except that in this case the table is replaced by three AAA and four AA batteries that power the projector and the included wireless paddles. In theory it sounds like a safer way to play because you ;re not sending a small projectile careening around a room, but the video embedded below seems to indicate players will be leaping left and right trying to make a shot. So the increased safety is probably dependent on how much energy you want to put into winning鈥攐r n stanley flask ot. [Sharper Image via 7Gadgets]   Toyland: We love toys.
