 A health panel filled with experts making recommendations on the benefits and harms of preventive health services has recommended for the first time that doctors screen all children between 8 and 18 for anxiety. The task force is trying to reduce the number of children with undetected mental health conditions. According to The Wisconsin Department of Justice  DOJ , police received a 911 call around 11:11 a.m. reporting a person moving toward Mount Horeb Middle School with a backpack and what appeared to be a long gun.  The DOJ says the weapon recovered was a Ruger .177 caliber pellet rifle.Officers were able to locate the person and directed them to drop the weapon. The person then pointed the weapon at officers, according to the DOJ. Officers then shot the person, life-saving measures were taken but the person died on the scene. He was on the La Crosse High School track team. Yet like the snow-covered track at La Crosse Central High School, the story of George Poage was mostly silent.  NEW BERLIN 鈥?A 27-year-old man died Thursday after a medical incident at a City of New Berlin park.According to a news release from the New Berlin Fire Department, first responders were dispatched to the Malone Park basketball courts at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday for a report of a man who was  unconscious and ineffectively breathing.
