Wcwz New Climate Pledges Give Us a 50-50 Shot at Meeting the Paris Agreement
New findings, pu stanley cup blished recently in the journal Palaeogeography, Palaeoclimatology, Palaeoecology, shed a light on feeding habits of these strange, extinct mammals and some of their closest relatives, revealing clues about the changing world they inhabited.     Researchers now understand that mammals like whales and hippopotamuses have a close evolutionary kinship. But the fossil record shows that these groups once shared the planet with multiple now-extinct related families, some of which were beyond weird. There were anthracotheres, which were like Dachshund hippos with stretched o stanley mugs ut, narrow heads. There were also those vaguely piggish entelodonts: buffalo-sized rage swine with wide, winged cheekbones, barreling along on unnervingly athletic legs.  They have a very strange morphology. Theyre like a combination of different animals,  said Florent Rivals, an evolutionary paleoecologist at the Catalan Institute of Human Paleoecology and Social Evolution in Spain, citing features of entelodont skulls and teeth that resembled those of both pigs and carnivorous mammals. Entelodonts seem to have a lot in common with omnivorous pigs, for example, but theyve also been imagined as potential predators, prowling the woodlands and plains  stanley tumblers for vulnerable game like some kind of hooved grizzly.  And yet, because that movie is still two years away, theres not a ton of merchandise out there. Enter artist Harlam Elam, who was commissioned to do a limited edition screenprint based on the book. Check it out:      I wanted the art itself to look like a 3 tiered game inspired by Monument Valley in order to reflect the core themes of  stanley cup uk the book,  Elam said.  I had great fun stuffing the print with as many relevant pop-culture references as I could.  The poster, a 12 x 24 inch, 1o color screenprint will be available in the next few weeks via Elams Twitter. Whats even cooler is that the artist was able to get every single poster signed by Cline himself. Here are a few detailed shots of the poster, revealing some of the more subtle  and not so subtle  references to the book. And heres Elams  art board  of inspiration.
