 WASHINGTON 鈥?House Judiciary Committee Ch stanley cup airman Jerrold Nadler says acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker has agreed to testify before his panel on Feb. 8.In a letter sent to Whitaker Tuesday, Nadler says he is happy to have reached an agreement for you to appear on that date.It will be one of the first major oversight hearings for the Democratic majority in the House.  Despite being geographic neighbors, Syria and Turkey   political relationship historically hasn ;t been very close, but things were on the mend  that is, until the Arab Spring hit.Starting on Friday, the PBS NewsHour will present a series of reports on how the violent conflict in Syria is impacting neighboring Turkey.We asked Joshua Landis, director of the Center for Middle East Studies and an associate professor of Middle Eastern studies at the University of Oklahoma, for some insight into the complicated relationship between the two countries.For most of the last century, Turkey and Syria   relationship was extrem jordan ely bad, he said.
