SCARBOROUGH 鈥?Jacqueline Jackie LaBonty, 77, beloved mother, grandmother and sister, passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010,
stanley cup at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, after a lengthy illness. Jackie was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Clair, New Brunswick, daughter of Albert and Ida Michaud Landry. Jackie completed her high school education at Cormier High School, Edmundston, New Brunswick. After this she went to work at Royal Bank of Canada, Edmundston, New Brunswick. During this time in Jackies life, quite a love story began when she married Attorney Alfred E. LaBonty Jr., April 7, 1956. They enjoyed 50 years of marriage in Madawaska before Alfreds death in 2006. Jackie was a kind and gentle woman who loved caring for her husband and family. She always carried herself with a very classic and understated elegance. She enjoyed many things during her life including bridge, flowers, traveling, golf, cooking, reading, knitting, crocheting and her sons and their families. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred E. LaBonty Jr.; her brother, JeanNel Landry
