CLEARWATER, Fla. 鈥?One person died, and northbound lanes of U.S. 19 were closed most of Friday after a crash, Clearwater Police said.FHP said a motorcycle was traveling north on US19 and approaching the intersection of SR44. The motorcyclist failed to make a right turn and traveled over the cement median and collided with a GMC Canyon. The motorcyclist continued and collided with a Ford pickup.The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from injuries suffered during the crash.FHP said the other two drivers were not injured.
