I deserve to be there just like any boy, she told Denver7.Christian joined BSA on Feb. 1, 2019, the first day the organization welcomed girls to their ranks. Over the course of just two years, Cassidy and 15 others completed all requirements to reach the highest rank of the organization. Only 8% of scouts who enter the program earn the rank of Eagle Scout. It is an elite club, said Mark Truax of the National Eagle Scout Association.Truax added that for those boys who do achieve Eagle Scout, it usually takes them much longer than the two years it took this class of girls.
