The Town of Halton Hills ActiVan service to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital OTMH will become permanent on April 1.The shuttle service provides rides to the hospital for people who need access to the hospitals programs and services as well as students enrolled in the Halton District School Boards Project SEARCH, a school-to-work training program for students with disabilities.The town first ran a pilot project in November 2021 and then extended it through 2022. In 2022, the ActiVan made 1,200 trips to OTMH. It was included in the towns 2023 budget, allowing it to continue the service.
