Ontarios police watchdog has announced it is opening an investigation into a fatal Milton crash, which claimed the lives of three people on March 30.In a press release issued Aug. 2, the Special Investigation Unit said it would be looking into the circumstances that led to the early morning two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Derry Road and Sixth Line.It noted that on July 22 Halton police reached out to the SIU about this case and based on the information received the SIU has now invoked its mandate.
