Motorcycle Jerking in 1st Gear – Could Clutch Plate Quality Be the Culprit?

 Replaced my stock plates with a cheaper set of Motorcycle clutch plates a while back, and now my bike's jerky in first gear. Could the quality of plates be the issue? Looking for a smoother alternative.
