 A Milwaukee man was shot and killed while mowing his lawn near 28th and Villard on Monday.Milwaukee police say the victim, a 53-year-old man, was struck around 12:45 p.m. He died from his injuries.                        Submitted                William Czarnecki, also known as Bill, was shot and killed near 28th and Villard on Monday, July 31, 2023.     The victim s family identified him as William Czarnecki but said he goes by Bill. Those living on Czarnecki s street say you would always see him with a smile on his face, taking care of his dog and his lawn. He was doing just that when someone drove by his home and took his life while he was mowing the lawn.
