Ontario spends a lot of time complaining about vaccine supply. When Premier Doug Ford was hiding after Fridays restrictions debacle, before it was revealed he had been exposed to a COVID case, his staff posted a picture of him staring intently at a laptop and said he was calling places like the European Union for vaccines. Canada, of course, has delivered more first doses o stanley canada f vaccines thstanley cup an any EU country but Hungary, which took Chinese vaccines. Maybe when you are still learning to work a laptop, mistakes are made.Across town, near Jane and Finch, vaccine supply was a more concrete issue. The lines stretched at Driftwood Community Centre, with wet snow on the ground but mercifully not on the sidewalk; some people had stayed overnight to get a vaccine. It was one of several recent vaccination clinics there, led by local community leaders, helped by hospitals. Despite the lines, it was good news.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                                        Sunday  the rain came, and people still stayed in line,  said Luwam Ogbaselassie, the implementation lead for the social medicine and population health program for University Health Network, and a site lead at Black Creek Community Health Centre at Jane and Finch vaccination sites Saturday and Sunday.  We had community ambassadors ru stanley tumbler nning out to the line with garbage bags for folks to put over their heads.
