 MILWAUKEE 鈥?State lawmakers came together Thursday to address solutions on racial disparities and inequities in Wisconsin. While the web of inequities is vast, Thursdays subcommittee focused on Education and Economy. This health crisis did not create new problems, but its magnifying preexisting issues,  State Rep. Kala stanley portugal n Haywood Jr. said.Haywood is one of several lawmakers on the Task Force on Racial Disparities. It was created on the heels of the shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha Police in August.  Since the end of the Civil War, only two members of Congress have ever been expelled. Rep. George Santos, a New York Republican, could become the third member of Congress in the last 160 years to be removed from the House.The House is expected to vote on a potential expulsion of Santos soon, possibly this week.Rep. Jim Traficant, D-Ohio, was the last member of the House to be expelled when he was removed in 2002 on bribery charges. Azar s comments come a day after an FDA panel voted to recommend that the Pfizer vaccine be given Emergency Use Authorization.  BROOKFIELD, Wis. 鈥?Last week, an anonymous tip came into TMJ4 s newsroom about a situation unfolding at Jake s Restaurant in Brookfield. The tip said that employee s paychecks were bouncing when they deposited them, and that the state had come and shut the restaurant down. On Wednesday, June 19th, Jenna Rae went to Jake s. A sign on the door said it was closed for maintenance. Rae knocked anyways. The general manager opened the door and said the owner wasn t there. Rae left her card for the owner to call her, but never heard from  stanley cups uk him. Today, we talked with three stanley flask  employees who said their paychecks have bounced more than once, and they want their money. The employees from Jake s Restaurant wanted to protect their identities by being anonymous.  They bounced right when we have to pay our bills. Our reason is there s not enough funds to pay this check,  employee two explained.
