jordan1 he accident at the intersection of State Highway 36 and County Road J around 11:42 p.m.Their preliminary investigation determined a Chevrolet Malibu traveling westbound on J failed to stop for a stop sign at Highway 36. This caused it to strike a Toyota Yaris, which was traveling southbound on 36. Both vehicles ended up in the ditch, with the Yaris coming to rest on its side.Emergency responders had to extract the driver of the Yaris, a 22-year-old from Franklin. The person was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries.The driver of the Malibu, a 59-year-old man from Kenosha, was also treated for injuries at a hospital.
