 A Texas AM-Texarkana baseball player is recovering in the hospital after being struck by a stray bullet during a game Saturday in east Texas.The 18-year-old ballplayer was hit around 5:30 p.m. while he was standing in the bullpen during a game against the University of Houston-Victoria at Spring Lake Park, the Texarkana Texas Police Department saidin a statement.Authorities said the incident appeared to stem from  s stanley cup ome type of altercation  in a nearby neighborhood. We initially received several calls of shots fired on Lynda Street, which is in a neighborhood just west of Sp stanley cup ring Lake Park,  police said.  Moments later, we received a 911 call that a baseball player at the park had collapsed and may have been shot. Authorities said they responded to the scene of the reported gunfire and discovered several shell casings in the front yard of a home in the neighborhood.Following an investigation, the shooters were identified as 17-year-old Kamauri Butler and 20-year-old Demarco Banks. Police said they fled the scene before officers arrived.  HELENA 鈥?Miracle Treat Day was Thursday, August 2 and to celebrate the occasion Laura Haller, Miss Montana 2018, was on hand at Shodair Childrens Hospital to give Blizzards to the patients.Miracle Treat Day is a national event that benefits Childrens Miracle Network  CMN  Hospitals. Shodair is the only Childrens Miracle Network Hospital in Montana.Dairy Queen stores across Montana are participating in the event. Depending on the location, either 100 percent of the proceeds, or $1 will go to Shodair from every Blizzard sold.Each Blizzard that was given to patients was paid for by the staff at Shodair. Our employee giving fund is strong because the community members that work believe in the mission of the work  af1 we do, and also want to see patients have special treats, and Blizzards are very popular throughout the organization,  Community Relations Director Alana Listoe said.  The hos af1 pita salomon l has been abuzz all week in anticipation and having Miss Montana here makes it extra special this year.
