PICKERING, Ont. 鈥?Electricity has been restored to most customers after a city east of Toronto was left without power for nearly two hours.Veridian Connections says all of Pickering, Ont., and the west end of neighbouring Ajax, Ont., were without power Wednesday afternoon due to a Hydro One transformer problem.Pickering has a population of about 90,000. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW Veridian says the outage began around 1:30 p.m. and power was restored to all but a couple of areas in Pickering before 3:30 p.m. Veridian says those customers were expected to have power by late afternoon.
