 A significant cleanup effort has been taking place in the harbour in front of Port Dalhousie Pier Marina after a pail containing vegetable oil-based drilling fluid tipped over from a barge floating beside the east pier.The spilled occurred sometime Monday evening on a barge being used by Bronte Construction as part of the Port Dalhousie Piers reconstruction project.Marina owner and harbourmaster Nena Donatelli said when the spill occurred she immediately called the city and was told it had already been reported.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                                        Donatelli said that though the fluid came into contact with the hulls of a few of the boats in the harbour, crews were quickly able to contain it with booms, and that it didnt require their operation to be shut down.
