The number of active cases of COVID-19 in Halton Region dropped by more than 25 per cent over the long weekend.Halton reported just one new case since the last update on Friday, an Oakville resident between the ages of 20 and 39. During the same time, seven recoveries were recorded, six in Oakville and one in Halton Hills, leaving the town with no active cases.Region wide there are now 17 active cases, down from 23 on Friday. Milton has seven active cases and Burlington and Oakville each have five.
