The North Grenville Fire Service was busy overnight battling a fire that completely destroyed the Rush Truck Centres of Canada Collision Centre in Kemptville.The building, formerly known as the Tallman Truck Centre body shop at 405 Van Buren Street, was fully involved at just past 1 a.m. Firefighters were still on the scene at 7:30 this morning watching for hot spots. The fire service received mutual aid from Edwardsburgh/Cardinal and Merrickville fire departments, as well as assistance from emergency service partners, the OPP and Leeds and Grenville Paramedic Service.The extent of the damage is unknown at this time and the fire service is waiting to hear from the Office of the Fire Marshal regarding the cause of the fire.
