A Milton foundation working to build a new hospice facility in north Halton is inviting the public to apply to be part of the organizations
stanley cup board of directors.The Townsend Smith Foundation continues to source sites for a hospice, raise funds through events and donors and brings awareness to the need for a hospice to serve older adults in Milton, Acton, and Georgetown.Board members will help develop, fundraise, and build a hospice residence, while embracing the mission and values of the organization and engage volunteers and community partners. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW Responsibilities include providing direction in line with the foundations mission and vision, undertaking financial and risk management, and engaging in advocacy and networking. Board members will work with the executive director, events co-ordinator, campaign director, volunteers and more 鈥?and will hold office for three years.
