 BROOKFIELD 鈥?BROOKFIELD, Wis. 鈥?One person was shot during a shootout in the parking lo stanley thermoskannen t outside of the Movie Tavern in Brookfield Square overnight, police say.It happened just after midnight Friday night when police say at least two people were exchanging gunfire. Police say they arrived at the theater and found one person shot, who was a patron at the theater. That person was also found to have been one of the shooters. Police took that person into custody. We do not perceive an active or ongoing threat to the safety of the public,  a news release from the Brookfield Police Department says.The theater and mall were business as usual Saturday morning. Customers shared their shock after learning about the shooting several hours before they arrived.
