Ed Markey  D-Mass. , is retiring from Capitol Hill after nearly three decades of congressional service.Moulton has served as Markey s alter ego for the last 23 years, most recenty as staff director and chief counsel on the Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming. Moulton will  pursue opportunities in the non-profit sector,  according to a statement from Markey s office.
