A woman who authorities said had sex with high school boys during alcohol and drug-fueled parties has been sen stanley usa tenced to 30 years in prison, officials said.Authorities said Silvia Johnson, 41, of Arvada, a Denver suburb, described herself to investigators as a  cool mom  who  was never popular with classmates in high school  and who was beginning to  stanley website feel like one of the group. She pleaded guilty in July to two misdemeanor counts of sexual assault and nine felony counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She also was sentenced for additional charges of third-degree assault, violation of a restraining order and harassment for unrelated cases involving her husband and children, prosecution spokesman Carl Blesch said.Authorities said Johnson held p stanley quencher arties for the boys almost weekly between October 2003 and October 2004. They said Johnson provided drugs and alcohol to eight boys and had sex with five of them.        Johnson was to be sentenced on Sept. 26, but the hearing was postponed after she was injured the day before while riding in an SUV that veered off an interstate.                                                                      ponent--type-recirculation .item:nth-child 5  {        display: none;      }       inline-recirc-item--id-937af6a2-8c88-11e2-b06b-024c619f5c3d,  right-rail-recirc-item--id-937af6a2-8c88-11e2-b06b-024c619f5c3d {        display: none;      }       inline-recirc-item--id-937af6a2-8c88-11e2-b06b-024c619f5c3d ~ .item:nth-child 5  {         Flsb This Week   s Best Photo-Related Posts on Reframe
I don ;t know about you, but my home bar is a mess. It   two shelves utterly stuffed with bottles any way they ;ll fit, with no rhyme or reason behind it. Rarely do I have any concept of how much I have left of what; I have to check every bottle and hope there   enough to scrape together a decent cocktail. In the future, it wouldn ;t have to be this way. It   Friday afternoon, you ;ve made it through the long week, and it   time for Happy Hour, Gizmodo   weekly booze column. A cocktail shaker full of innovation, science, and alcohol. I ;m sorry, Dave, I ;m afraid you ;re wasted. Take a look at the video above. It   a concept from Pernod Ricard called Project Gutenberg, and it   what the home bar of the future could look like. We ;ve definitely seen plenty of robot  stanley cup usa bartenders in the past, but this is something different. This is something you actually might want prominently displayed in your living room. Drinks-On With the World   Biggest, Baddest Bartending Robot  While this particular design is in the early prototype phase and won ;t be released for a long time  if ever , it serves as excellent fodder for imagining what the perfected, futuristic home bar could be. Design Forward One of th stanley mug e most not stanley termosky able things about Project Gutenberg is that there are no bottles, at least not traditional ones. What we have instead is a digitized tray that are stacked with booze-filled books. 8

Ihek The Final Debate
Potential Army suicides more than doubled in May compared to the previous month and are up significantly for 2009, according the U.S. Defense Department. The Army reported one confirmed suicide and 16 potential cases among active-duty soldiers last month. In April, there were a total of eight cases - three confirmed and five still under investigation, according to the Pentagon. In all, there have been 82 reported suicides in 2009 - 45 confirmed, 37 pending review. During the same period in 2008, there were 51 cases among soldiers. In January, the Army implemented a branch-wide effort to deal with the growing number of suicides, including the creation of a suicide prevention task force and the hiring of more counselors.  We have got to do better,  Army Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Peter W. Chiarelli said in a statement.  It s clear we have no stanley ca t found full solutions to this yet. But we are trying every remedy and seeking help from outside agencies that are experts in suicide prevention. There isn t a reasonable suicide prevention tool out there the Army won t potentially employ.      stanley cup     The spike in suicides is also s stanley tumbler een among reservists not on active duty. In 2009, there have been 37 cases - 16 confirmed and 21 potential - compared to 23 suicides for the same period in 2008.  As hard as this problem truly is, in some ways it is also very basic, because it requires caring for soldiers, and that s something we already know how to do,  said Brig. Gen. Colleen McGuire, director, Army S Otxf February snowstorms slam U.S.
An international team of scientists have just held a qubit   memory state for 39 minutes. That might not sound like m gourde stanley uch, but it   100 times longer than the previous record.  stanley trinkflaschen It   a groundbreaking achievement that could pave the way to freakishly fast computers.     Above: A quantum computer chip. Credit: Erick Lucero. Unlike conventional computers and their bits of data, quantum computers use qubits as their most basic unit of information. Holding On To Memories Quantum information processing is done through the use of elemental particles like electrons and photons. These particles, as they change their charge or polarization, can represent off/on messages 鈥?the requisite 0   and 1   used in binary systems. Qubits take advantage of spooky quantum effects allowing them to be stored in a  8220 uperposition state, meaning they can be both 0   and 1   at the same time. Quantum computers, therefore, can perform multiple calculations in an instant, which is why they ;re frequently heralded as the computer of the future. And in fact, Google and NASA have enthusiastically jumped on board the quantum computation bandwagon. https://gizmodo/a-sneak-peak-inside-google-and-nasas-new-quantum-ai-la-1444007785 But quantum systems are incredibly difficult to measure and operate. They are highly unstable, often forgetting their memories in less  stanley mugs than a second. Prior to this most recent breakthrough
