But while those changes were made to make it easier for the Doc or Marty minifigs to fit inside the car, Lego   taken a different route here. During our brief hands-on with the new set, it appears that this time around Lego has prioritized the aesthetics of Ecto-1 over functionality. There didn ;t appear to be an easy to way to put the minifigs inside the vehicle, short of removing the entire roof which would have been difficult due to attached cables and other detailing. It limits playability, but Ecto-1 looks like it just rolled straight out of the movie, so it   hard to complain. Update: It looks like the roof is actually only held in place by four studs in the corners, making it easy to remove to insert the figures and check out the details inside. So it   win-win here.
