They became incapacitated as a result of complications due to the current coronavirus pandemic in mid-March; their parent company, Microsoft, opted to take the ailing stores off life support today. Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, on October 22, 2009, amid the heady jubilance of an Ashley Tisdale concert  apparently , the Microsoft Store spent its life yearning  to achieve the slickness and ubiquity of its elder cousin, the Apple Store. Personally I cant vouch for how one stacked up against the other, as Ive nev stanley cup er set foot inside a Microsoft store, but Im told they had technical support staff, devices to try out, and game consoles to play. Mostly, I remember people protesting outside of its flagship 5th Avenue location in New York.     As the concept of  shopping  in a  store  became anathema to an increasingly covid-averse public, Microsofts stores were shuttered, and their approximately 2,000 associates were reallocated toward remote customer service. Shes no nonsense and career-minded! Hes a social outcast who talks to animals! Together, they fight crime and disease鈥攂ut mainly diseases because this is a medical drama! You know how it goes. That aspect of the series sounds a bit cliche, but its the bit about these two doctors teaming up to create cross-species medicine that is juuuust speculative enough to have us intrigued. Zoobiquity was all about exploring genetic similarities between humans and animals and how future medicine could exploit that link. The idea of that being explored in a light-he stanley ca arted  unconventional  medical show probably means it wont dig into the science or research behind such cutting-edge medicine with much deftness. Sound like it could be a really weird stepping off point to a modern, gritty Manimal reboot, though. Probably not.
