But it apparently doesnt have to be that way.     Mr. Volt, a self-identified display addict, stumbled across a 0.7-inch OLED microdisplay that could still muster HD resolutions at a full 1920 215;1080. Thats over two million pixels squeezed onto a screen you can easily cover with your thumb. At $275 it doesnt come cheap, but who could resist such a novelty  Thankfully, not Mr. Volt, who ordered one, created a custom laser-cut wooden mount to hold it, and then connected it to a PC so they could play Doom Ete stanley cup rnal on it.  Not only did the game display perfectly on the screen, but it also ran at a full 60Hz refresh rate without any visible screen tearing or other artifacts that may indicate it couldnt keep up with the gaming action. But is standing 10-inches from a 0.7-inch screen really a practical way to play Doom Eternal  Probably not, and it definitely cant be great for your eyes. So why does this screen even exist  On the AliExpress website, its listed as being designed for head-mounted displays and while it might work great in one of those giant, obscenely expensive helmets that pilots wear, dont expect something like this to facilitate a pair o stanley cup f smart glasses. Thats it!     Its worth highlighting the fact that Apple made these extremely popular wireless earbuds just a little bit better without changing the price. It doesnt sound like the second-generation AirPods got such an overhaul that you should throw away your first-generation AirPods and blow $160  or $200 if you want the wireless c stanley cup harging case  on an upgrade. The new AirPods look just like the old AirPods. Apple does say that the second-gen AirPods offer up to 50 percent more talk time and connect to iOS devices up to twice as fast thanks to the new H1 chip. Then theres the always-on Siri functionality that lets you talk to Apples terrible personal assistant more easi stanley cup ly. The wireless charging case is otherwise the beefiest upgrade since it makes the whole package more convenient and sets the AirPods up for the imminent  or doomed  arrival of the AirPower charging mat. Again, the new case will cost extra. Well do a full review of the new AirPods when we get our hands on a pair. In the meantime, dont go rushing to upgrade quite yet. Unless you bought new AirPods last week.
