Well, though he was poised to direct Doctor Strange 2, Derrickson famously stepped away from that project and went back to his roots. His new film is called The Black Phone and, up until now, no one had seen anything from it. But Universal Pictures and Blumhouse debuted a trailer at CinemaCon 2021 and the film looks like its going to be absolutely terrifying.   stanley mug    The Black Phone is based on a 2004 short story by Joe Hill, a.k.a. Stephen Kings son, so theres a chance some of you know the story, and what to expect. I did not know either though so, as the footage unfurled, I was entranced. 聽The Black Phone is about a young boy who lives in a town where lots of kids hav gourde stanley e been kidnapped. And so the trailer begins with the  stanley taza boy and a young girl looking at all the sad  Missing  posters around town. They then run into a man who drives a van that says  Abracadabra  on it. This man is played by Ethan Hawke, who worked with Derrickson on Sinister and told audiences at Cinemacon before the trailer ran that, though he has a rule to never play villains, he made an exception for this movie. As the trailer continues, Hawkes character gets out of his truck  appearing to have some kind of white makeup on , and drops his groceries. The young boy attempts to help him as the man explains hes a part time magician. A few of his black balloons fly to the sky. The man then says to the boy  Do you want to see a magic trick   Its all very Joker.  with a 6,062-pound, $45 million satellite. Turns out, that happened because the Meteor-M weather satellite was programmed with the wrong coordinates. On Wednesday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin told the Rossiya 24 state TV channel that a human error was responsible for the screw-up, according to Reuters. While the Meteor-M launched last month from the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Far East, it was reportedly programmed with take-off coordinates for the Baikonur cosmodrome, which is located i stanley cup n southern Kazakhstan.      The rocket was really programmed as if it was taking off from Baikonur,  Rogozin said.  They didnt get the coordinates right.  And the rocket had some precious cargo on board:  18 smaller satellites belonging to scientific, research and commercial companies from Russia, Norway, Sweden, the US, Japan, Canada and Germany,  Reuters reported. Human programming errors and technical glitches arent uncommon in space flight. In fact, this isnt Russias first mishap in recent history. In 2015, one of its rockets exploded minutes after launch, destroying a Mexican communication satellite. And last year, Japans $273 million Hitomi satellite was declared lost after it d stanley thermos mug isintegrated and spun out of orbit. The cause is largely attributed to human error. Russias c stanley mugs ostly failure comes shortly after its Roscosmos space program slashed its budget by 35 percent this year. Whats more, a 2015 audit into the Russian space agency found $1.8 billion in financial violations.
