 Teenager rescued after dangerous fall in Menifee  stanley cup CountyNovember 25, 2023 Justin Walker, MENIFEE CO, Ky  WTVQ - A teenager is recovering following a dangerous fall Friday afternoon in Menifee County.The Wolfe County Search and Rescue teams says they got a call a 4 o ;clock Friday for a teen who ;d fallen near Broke Leg Falls. First responders say the teen was seriously injured.After surveying the area, a raise operation was confirmed and a location identified.They say the site was heavily overgrown with trees and required an extensive amount of grooming to allow the team to safely and efficiently conduct the raise.A team member was lowered down the cliff face along with our stokes basket and additional EMS supplies.Once the victim was at the top of the 50 foot cliff, he was assessed.
