Russia s ministry of economic development and trade has extended for three years an agreement with Transaero under which the airline is exempted from paying Rb 3.7 billion $13.2 million in import tax for Western aircraft. Transaero chairman Aleksandr Pleshakov has agreed to order 10 locally built Tupolev Tu-204/214 airliners by 15 February.
