stanley cups shooting in a Mississauga neighbourhood.The gunfire erupted around 11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 on Acorn Place, in the area of Hurontario Street and Eglinton Avenue.Peel Region paramedics said the 22-year-old Mississauga man was rushed to a Toronto trauma centre suffering from gunshot wounds. This violence is getting out of hand, said Tom Jansens, who lives on Acorn Place. Dont know if it will ever stop. Gunfire has erupted at least four other times in the area since November of 2017.Those incidents include one on Jan. 22, 2018, when a 27-year-old man was critically-injured after being shot in the same neighbourhood on Acorn Place.
