Downes Floyd. She attended Brewer schools and was a 1952 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono.Marguerite was the former Vice President and General Manager of NBC affiliate WLBZ Television in Bangor and was active in many community groups. She was a former president of the Greater Bangor Chamber of Commerce, the Maine Broadcaster of the Year in 1981 and President of the Maine Association of Broadcasters in 1980.Margo was also elected to the National Association of Broadcasters Board of Directors in 1985 and served as Vice Chairman of the National Telev
