Dr. William J. Lawrence is a retired professor of economics and entrepreneurship with decades of experience in academia, public service, and private business. He founded the Pace Small Business Development Center, helped design NYIT’s MBA program, and played a key role in New York City’s economic planning during the 1970s fiscal crisis.
