I have been reading that the 2026 laptop generation was going to be the year of the solid-state battery, with a 20-hour life and zero heat. I haven't noticed them on any large spec sheets yet. Will the hardware ninnies at
community techzeel ever actually see a particular brand making use of these, or do we have to wait three more years before we can abandon the lithium-ion?
