Spent the better part of yesterday calling around to different suppliers in Dubai and Sharjah trying to get quotes on UN certified 1000L units and honestly the price range is all over the place, from 450 dirhams for what looks like a repainted unit with no documentation up to nearly 1500 for brand new with all the tags. I'm trying to put together a proper comparison sheet before I pull the trigger on six tanks for our workshop, and I noticed on one of the supplier pages there's a button to
click to view the detailed specs and certification documents which is more than most places offer upfront. Has anyone actually gone through the hassle of getting tanks shipped from a UAE supplier to somewhere like RAK or Fujairah, and did the delivery cost kill the deal? Also curious if the cheaper refurbished ones ever come with genuine UN recertification or if that's just marketing talk. Really don't want another surprise like the guy above with the fine. Appreciate any recent buying experiences.
