 Nashville, TN  The Tennessee Department of General Services is pleased to announce the launch of the new State-Owned Land Dashboard,  termo stanley a Geographic Information System  GIS  public-facing map displaying all the land the state owns.The map, available here, gives users access to a comprehensive list of state-owned properties with numerous data points for each property, including address, District, State Agency, State Senator, State Representative, and more. This new map is a valuable resourc stanley cup uk e for Tennesseans who want to learn more about the States property holdings,  said Christi Branscom, Commissioner of the Department of General Services.  This map provides users with a searchable database for a more robust analysis of state-owned property stanley de . Such analysis will help the State to determine which properties are critical to the States mission and which can be returned to its highest and best use by the private sector. The State of Tennessee Real Estate Asset Management division in the Department of General Services developed this map in partnership with the Tennessee State GIS Office in the Department of Finance and Administration and the Office of the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury.  Montgomery County, TN 鈥?The latest organization to host a Green Ribbon Cutting for becoming Clarksville-Montgomery County Green Certified is the Montgomery County Co-Op.Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett, City of Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan, and Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce Melinda Shepard were there to congratulate the Co-Op for a job well done. The biggest thing and what has saved us the most money was changing our lighting from metal halide lighting to T8 fluorescent bulbs. We saw savings immediately from making that switch. We are also recycling cardboard, paper and plastics and weve found ways to reduce the amount of water being used in our agricultural practices. We have cardboard in all Montgomery County locations and are incorporating the other conservation initiatives into the other stores. Clarksville Mayor McMillan asked how receptive the employees were to the changes.
