The ambition was multiplied when the SDS came up for review last year and the European Commission decided to maintain the 2010 deadline for these four and several other targets.This week 21 March government ministers from around the world were meeting in Brazil to discuss the UN convention on biological diversity, concentrating on halting biodiversity loss essentially, saving endangered species which has to some extent come to represent the whole of the EU SDS.But the SDS is supposed to be about more than biodiversity.
