 MADISON, Wis. 鈥?The man accused of brutally attacking a UW-Madison student graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2019.Brandon Thompson, 26, attended his initial appearance in Dane County court on Thursday. Joe said Kevin had driven up to Germantown on Wednesday evening to pick up some items he d bought at auction. Kevin, Joe said, made a stanley cup  living, in part, by selling auctioned appliances, like ice makers. Joe said he often helped repair the appliances. According to Joe, Kevin had called him just after 6 p.m. on Monday to say his truck broke down. WHSF is the organization behind Mexican Fiesta, which is the largest fundraiser for the scholarship program. Since 1987, over $1.8 million in scholarships went to Hispanic students in Wisconsin.
